My artwork tends to be based either purely on emotion, or a combination of emotions and a longing to preserve memories. The process of working is more fulfilling than the finished product, more as a vehicle to further my recognition of emotions and ingrain in my memory the subject I am working with. To me, art-making is the most powerful reminder of why we live and what we love. When completed with a piece, I seem to develop a deeper appreciation of the world and my place in it.
